About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Baker to join our team. This role involves preparing a variety of baked goods, including cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, and more, while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. As part of the team, you will assist in the preparation of baked goods, maintain cleanliness at the bakery station, and support the baker in various duties.

Requirements

Some experience in baking or culinary settings is a plus but not required.
A strong interest in baking and willingness to learn.
Attention to detail and a creative mindset for developing recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods such as cookies, pies, and other desserts according to club recipes and standards.
Assist with the production of breads, rolls, biscuits, and muffins to ensure a consistent inventory of freshly baked goods.
Assist with setting up and presenting pastry carts and buffet dessert tables with guidance from the baker or in their absence.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station.
Follow established recipes and presentation standards for all items.
Set up, maintain, and break down the pastry station.
Notify the baker, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef of any expected product shortages.
Uphold a neat and professional appearance, adhering to personal cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Comply with all local and state health and safety regulations.
Help with other tasks as directed by the baker or supervisory staff.
