About The Position

The Department of Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This full-time, twelve-month position will coordinate medical care and comprehensive athletic training services and coverage for the following sport program: Soccer and other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine; perform administrative duties as assigned; maintain comprehensive records of athletic injuries and treatments, formulate effective therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation plans; make referrals to interact regularly with team physicians, coaching, and administrative staff.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree preferred.
  • NATA/BOC certification and current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required and candidates must be eligible for an Illinois state license.
  • The successful candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences.
  • Proficiency with computer applications; general office software and knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations as well as a willingness to embrace and model the mission and core values of Bradley Athletics are required.
  • The successful candidate must be willing and able to work irregular hours and weekends and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
