About The Position
Under general direction, assists with the management of competitive athletic programs; assists with conditioning, practices, recruiting, travel arrangements, and student managers. Essential Functions: Assists with the management of competitive athletic programs. Assists with conditioning, practices, recruiting, travel arrangements. Manages student workers/managers.
Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree in related area.
- 3-5 year's related experience.
- Knowledge of a specific sport's concepts/strategies and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of physical conditioning techniques and weight training
- Knowledge of basic statistics.
- Recruiting skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal/human relations skills.
- Organizational/planning skills.
- Leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to assess athletic talent.
- Ability to serve as a positive role model
- CPR
