The University of Utah College of Social Work ("College") invites applications for multiple 9-month open rank tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor with responsibilities in scholarly research and instruction at the undergraduate (BSW) and graduate (MSW) levels. The College is interested in candidates whose innovative ideas and research agenda will support students' transformation of policies, practice, and interventions to alleviate human suffering, enhance well-being, and promote social justice. The College is interested in candidates whose teaching focuses on mental health; child welfare; substance use and addictions; organizations and communities; diversity, human rights, and social justice; and technology in social work practice; however, candidates with teaching interests and/or expertise in other areas are encouraged to apply. The candidates selected for these positions will be outstanding scholars-with a strong scholarly record and external funding agenda; and teachers-with a record of excellence in teaching and student support-consistent with the appropriate rank of faculty appointment they are applying for. The University of Utah and the College value candidates who have experience working in settings with students from various backgrounds and possess a strong commitment to improving access to higher education.
