About The Position

Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of: Dental school educational processes. Modern prosthodontic and restorative didactic and techniques. Dental materials and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment. Ability to: Produce professional written reports and correspondence. Experience: Clinical experience in all restorative and prosthodontic clinical procedures. Minimum three years of clinical/educational experience. Substantial experience in fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant dentistry and digital technology. Education: DDS / DMD or international equivalent. Board certified/board eligible in Prosthodontics in California or equivalent. Licenses: Valid CPR certification. Working Conditions: Position is full-time, 4 days per week. Requires attendance to weekend/evening events and meetings. Occasional travel to the San Francisco campus may be required for professional development or other activities as assigned by their Department Chair. Preferred Qualifications Ability to: Communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients, students, staff, faculty, and administration. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work effectively in a group setting. Provide effective student and peer calibration and development. Maintain confidentiality of information. Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations. Effectively manage projects and deadlines. Experience: Dental school teaching experience Previous scholarly activities, including publications, conference presentations, invited lectures, extramural funding for research. Other: Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
