Department of Ophthalmology seeks a full time (1.0 FTE) Assistant or Associate Professor to provide pediatric glaucoma specialty care in our growing academic ophthalmology practice at The Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) and University of Colorado Denver (UCD) affiliate sites of practice. Key Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for direct outpatient medical and surgical management of pediatric glaucoma at the The Children’s Hospital Colorado, and affiliate sites of practice. Role will include resident teaching, and basic or clinical applied research. Coordination of care of complex pediatric patients with multiple services at CHCO. Supervision of medical and surgical care provided to these patients by pediatric ophthalmology and glaucoma fellows. Our Department’s home is the newly expanded UCHealth Eye Center on the Anschutz Medical Campus. This state of the art facility is one of the largest eye centers in the country and serves not only patients in the Rocky Mountain region but also patients all over the world. The technological innovations conceived and developed by Departmental faculty have changed the practice of eye care throughout the world.
