FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY (FVSU), a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. Fort Valley State University, the only 1890 land-grant university in Georgia, is a comprehensive institution that provides an education to over 2,800 students including graduate students. JOB SUMMARY: Fort Valley State University is seeking applicants for full-time, 10-month, tenure-track faculty positions in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. The mission of Fort Valley State University's nursing program is to prepare diverse nursing scholars to safely deliver quality healthcare that meets the holistic needs of clients. FVSU nursing is committed to working with rural communities to improve access to care and decrease health disparities. The start date for this position is August 1, 2026.
