Tenure evaluation will prioritize impactful creative scholarship, evidenced by screenings at prestigious film festivals (e.g., Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Venice, Slamdance, Atlanta, Seattle, Austin, or Florida), awards in the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Festival of Media Arts, screenings or presentations at the University Film and Video Association (UFVA) conference, OTT distribution of creative work with platforms such as DUST, Omeleto, Short of the Week, or other niche streaming outlets, recognition in branded entertainment awards (e.g., Cannes Lions Entertainment, Tribeca X, or Brand Film Awards), publications in creative outlets, peer-reviewed exhibitions, grants from bodies like the National Endowment for the Arts, or collaborations with industry leaders such as Netflix, Hulu, or emerging OTT platforms.
