About The Position

George Fox University announces a tenure-track faculty position in analytics, statistics, and personal finance to begin in August 2026. We seek applicants with the ability to teach in a broad range of undergraduate, MBA, and DBA quantitative courses, equipping students with the analytical tools necessary for modern business environments. As the College of Business integrates artificial intelligence across the curriculum, candidates must possess knowledge of AI applications and demonstrate practical skills in utilizing AI tools. George Fox University, a Christ-centered community, prepares students spiritually, academically, and professionally to think with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with passion. Professors teach all truth as God's truth, integrating fields of learning such as data analytics and finance around the person and work of Jesus Christ, bringing the divine revelations through sense, reason, and intuition to the confirming test of Scripture.

Requirements

An earned doctorate in Business or a related field, PhD or DBA preferred. ABD candidates will be considered.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
Expertise in analytics, statistics, and other quantitative topics.
A commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity .
A desire to work with a diverse community of students and employees who represent various cultures, backgrounds, abilities, ethnicities, political views, and expressions of Christian faith.
A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church.

Responsibilities

Teaching courses in analytics, statistics, personal finance and other quantitative topics.
Engaging with professional communities in these areas.
Participating in the work of the department and the university, including advising and serving on university committees as needed.
Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc. and works well with a variety of people.
