About The Position

Minimum Qualifications A doctorate in either sport management or a related business discipline is required although ABD candidates will be considered. Preferred Qualifications At least one (1) year of university teaching experience is recommended. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to develop and execute on a scholarly research plan in the field of sport management, sport analytics, or related business area. Experience in the sport industry and participation in professional organizations are desirable. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
