About The Position

The Department of Political Science in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty appointment in the field of Political Science. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and would begin August 15, 2026. The ideal candidate will be studying politics or policy around artificial intelligence or making sophisticated use of artificial intelligence methods in their research. We are particularly interested in applicants who can contribute to existing university programs in Data Science, Democracy, Public Administration, and Public Policy. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in political science, public administration, public policy, or a cognate field, by the start date of the appointment.
