About The Position

The Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a full-time faculty member. This position involves an appointment in the Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The role includes focused clinical responsibilities within a department of over 40 Clinical Urologists, encompassing attending duties in a large, integrated, multi-hospital clinical urology practice. The successful candidate will also be responsible for educating students, residents, and fellows, and is expected to provide general urologic services within a growing practice in the metropolitan Pittsburgh area.

Requirements

• M.D. in Urology with appropriate board certification/eligibility
• Eligibility for medical licensure or practice in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated excellence and commitment to patient care
• Experience with leading-edge diagnostic capabilities and delivery
• 0 - 5 years of experience in clinical care (for Assistant Professor level candidates)
• 6 - 9 years of experience (for Associate Professor level candidates)

Responsibilities
