About the Opportunity The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its ten tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Strong candidates for this position will have the expertise, knowledge, and skills to build their research, pedagogy, and curriculum in ways that reflect and enhance this commitment. Responsibilities: The Department of World Languages and Cultures seeks to fill a non-tenure-track job opening for an Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Full Teaching Professor of Korean. Duties include a teaching load of six courses for the academic year (three courses in each semester), including elementary courses taught in Korean and culture classes taught in English, and ongoing curricular and pedagogical innovation. Professional development and service are also expected. This is a renewable and benefits-eligible position, with an expected start date of Fall 2026. This position will support the University’s commitment to innovation in teaching as well as the Department of World Languages and Cultures' vision of developing students' intercultural communicative competence.
