About The Position
Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) invites applications and nominations for a visionary and mission-driven leader to serve as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Old Testament or Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Ministry. This position combines strategic oversight of academic programs, curriculum development, faculty support, and accreditation processes with teaching, mentoring, and research.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Old Testament, required.
- Must have a proven record of effective teaching, scholarly engagement, and academic leadership.
- Proven interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Requires a commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
- Alignment with the World Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith is required.
Nice To Haves
- Ordination and congregational ministry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leads academic program planning, scheduling, and assessment.
- Supports faculty development and evaluation.
- Coordinates accreditation documentation and compliance (ATS, SACSCOC).
- Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Old Testament and related disciplines.
- Mentors students in academic, professional, and spiritual formation.
- Collaborates with the Dean and university leadership on strategic initiatives.
