What We're Looking For The Assistant/Associate Director of Development, Athletics role will support the mission of the University by building and deepening relationships with philanthropically minded individuals who share a passion for Baylor Athletics and its broader impact. This position plays a key role in growing private support for the University by connecting donors to opportunities that align with their values and Baylor's strategic vision. Success in this role requires a collaborative spirit, strategic thinking, and a commitment to operating with integrity within all applicable institutional and NCAA guidelines. A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience are required. A master's degree and three years of relevant experience in a major gift fundraising or sales role, preferably in college athletics, is preferred. A successful candidate will have/possess strong character and self-starting/driven work ethic, curiosity to learn more about people, high emotional intelligence, a coachable spirit, and a persistence to initiate and cultivate key donor relationships. A valid US Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required. Must be able to travel outside of the state of Texas. This position will be based in Waco, Texas. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
