About The Position

We’re seeking an superstar Assistant Associate to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our Sports & Experiential account team. You’ll support projects from brief to activation across fan experiences and large-scale events. This is a fast-paced role for someone who thrives on juggling multiple priorities, collaborating across teams, and ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. You’ll gain hands-on experience in operational workflows, client communications, and on-site event execution while building expertise in sports marketing and experiential activations. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to learn, with a passion for sports, live experiences, and creating memorable moments for fans and clients alike.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for sports, live events and experiential marketing
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful, and solution-oriented
  • Professional demeanor and collaborative mindset
  • Marketing-related internship or experience in sports/experiential marketing strongly preferred
  • Quick learner who thrives in a team environment and builds strong relationships across functions

Responsibilities

  • Support the business leadership team with day-to-day project and administrative tasks to ensure work is executed on time, on budget, and to agency standards
  • Manage project workstreams (and smaller projects) with oversight from your manager, keeping the team informed on progress and status updates
  • Assist in building understanding of the client’s business objectives and partnership strategy
  • Help manage day-to-day client communications, including meeting agendas, call recaps, and follow-ups as directed
  • Foster relationships across internal teams and external partners, building a strong understanding of agency roles and processes
  • Contribute to internal briefings, strategy discussions, and creative assessments
  • Utilize agency tools for project tracking, status reporting, and documentation
  • Facilitate communications and proposals with external partners and vendors
  • Assist with estimating, invoicing, and billing processes
  • Support on-site at events, including sports activations and fan experiences, which may require some travel, weekends, and occasional holidays
  • Take initiative, set priorities, and lead assigned workstreams while maintaining composure under tight deadlines
  • Monitor trends and innovations in sports, partnerships, and experiential marketing; assist with research and reporting as needed
  • Build knowledge of the agency’s capabilities, mission, and values
  • Support and champion Momentum’s culture and core values
  • Perform other duties as assigned
