About The Position

General Responsibilities: Provide archaeological support which may include archaeological surveys, testing, or excavations, and corresponding documentation. Adhere to strict safety standards. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects. Entry level technician performing field, survey or laboratory analysis under the supervision of a Crew Chief or higher. Follow basic field or laboratory protocols outlined by more senior staff, such as archaeological fieldwork or artifact processing. Maintain assigned equipment. Provides clear documentation of findings or results. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of archaeological resources.
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
