About The Position

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Assistant Amusement Manager at the location in The Colony, Texas Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. We are a Team that constantly strives for perfection in the Family Entertainment Center experience. We are focused on delivering the absolute best in exhilarating, cutting edge Karting on indoor multilevel tracks, immersive multi-player Virtual Reality Simulators, arcade fun, and amazing event spaces & restaurants, all in spotlessly clean venues staffed with warm & knowledgeable Team Members. Summary of the Assistant Amusement Manager position The Assistant Amusement Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games day-to-day store operations of the three key areas of amusements: Arcade, Attractions, and Prize Redemption, to include staffing, scheduling & training of hourly staff, cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, staff motivation, safety and security. The Assistant Amusement Manager will work closely to support the AIKG Senior Amusement Manager and with the entire AIKG Operations team to ensure proper Andretti amusement and arcade standard operational procedures are being followed. Some of the overall responsibilities: Lead team members with integrity and purpose. Empower staff to deliver exceptional legendary service. Always support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Motto “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence”. Oversee standards and practices of AIKG Amusements are being met and maintained at their operating location. Follow up with the amusement and arcade leadership, as well as their location’s General Management team, as needed with issues/changes to store amusement operations. Lead Amusement/Arcade teams with, but not limited to, product ordering, reporting, team member training, repair/maintenance inquiries, game floor moves, inventory control, redemption operations, etc. Coaching arcade team members on safe and proper Attraction operations for the optimal AIKG guest experience standards Participate in weekly meetings with AIKG Directors & Store Leadership reviewing various Amusement based topics. Review weekly reporting provided by AIKG locations to assist on any necessary actions if needed. Manage/Maintain Amusement Operations when AIKG Senior Amusement Manger is away from the location. Able to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/infrastructural issues and communicate to the proper channels for support. Requirements

  • Experience in leadership in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of cost controls
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age

  • Two years of people management in a high-volume environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff
  • An interest in and familiarity with motorsports
  • Strong training and development background
