The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for the enforcement and protection of all company interests and assets. Company assets are defined as merchandise, money, technical equipment, supplies, fixtures, store dwellings (owned or leased), our company personnel and our customers. All other duties assigned by the supervisor. Post coverage – stock security Associate compliance and education (AP Awareness) Violation and Incident reporting. Conducting of Audits / maintaining of proper records. Managing of outsourced guards. Asset Protection Specialists will be tasked with determining Associate compliance in company Policy and Procedure with regard to proper Asset Protection guidelines (i.e. no more than 2 items being shown to a client at a time; associate does not leave keys in drawer, or leaves drawer open; any and all packages leaving premises are accompanied with proper paperwork, etc.) Conduct routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protection of assets. Complete required audits and inspections and provide accurate documentation of results. Conduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to local management. Ensure physical security by controlling access of associates and visitors. Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for the enforcement of Policy and Procedure. Monthly touch base with APM and APA’s to review training and outstanding concerns. Monthly maintenance of all AP related documents. Reporting of any theft to APM and interaction with local law enforcement. Daily review of cegid reports and review with APM (negatives, voids, returns, quota items). Supervision of all off site sales - Public and Employee. Partnership with floor management in the absence of APM. Key audits and management. Review of safe logs.
