Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Manager for the IFPC INC 2 program. The Asset Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle management of high-value, sensitive, and mission-critical assets used in testing, deployment, operation, and sustainment of the system. The Asset manager oversees all aspects of asset accountability, tracking, and disposition for the program. This includes managing a diverse inventory ranging from specialized defense hardware, IT infrastructure to intellectual property and test equipment. The role requires great attention to detail and an understanding of government property regulations. IMPACT: Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results. COMPLEXITY: Problems are sometimes unclear and may require understanding of a broader set of issues and may be difficult. Develops solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding of domain knowledge. COMMUNICATION: Communication and Collaboration with internal and customer team members is critical as this role directly impacts the mission. KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of the FAR and DFARS 252.242-7005 Contractor Business Systems Rules and the requirements, regulations and accountability of managing Government property. Must have experience with Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS). This position is an exciting opportunity to support the Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 Program.

  • Maintain accountability of Leidos assets and assigned GFP equipment across multiple geographical locations
  • Establish robust inventory system for logistics spares and materials at the Platform Integration Facility (PIF) to track, control, and maintain costs associated to meet customer demand while segregating from other entities within the PIF.
  • Track assets within ELMS and Costpoint and interface regularly with supply chain personnel to track requisitions throughout the supply chain to delivery.
  • Collaborate with FSRs to coordinate transportation of property to OEMs, depots, and other required locations.
  • Conduct Property Management self-assessments to stay in compliance with government audits and inspections.
  • Will prepare for and take part in system test planning and execution, verification, and validation events as required.
  • The candidate will provide direct support to the Leidos Product Support Lead and ILS Manager on all asset related matters involved with fielding and sustaining the IFPC INC 2 system.
  • BA/BS with 4-8 years of relative experience, or MA/MS with 2-6 years of relative experience
  • Experienced Knowledge of ELMP, GCSS-A, Costpoint, and LMI Database
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to coordinate material movements and deconflict complexities
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineer drawings
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Ability to contribute to logistics analyses for DoD programs.
