The Asset Management Team Chief is responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the Consolidated Installation Property Book Office (CIPBO) team ensuring that the best customer service is provided to all Fort Bragg assigned units. The Asset Management Team Chief should be certified and fully proficient with the Global Combat Supply System-Army (GCSS-Army) and a working knowledge with the Procurement Integrated Enterprise environment (PIEE). The Asset Management Team Chief is responsible for maintaining high leadership standards and technical expertise to deliver best customer service. Responsible for overseeing employees at the workplace to ensure all assigned work is performed to standards. Serves as an advocate for employees and help them navigate daily issues regarding work responsibilities and customer relations. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Be GCSS-Army certified in Property Book or Unit Supply level Ensure that all guidance listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are followed Make sure that all personnel assigned to CIPBO meet performance expectations, providing specific instructions to perform any taskings Ensure that new hires are helped with their assigned roles, and support them during their transition Ensure that all work environment is safe, secure and healthy for all employees Ensure that all assigned deadlines are met, and outstanding customer service is delivered Make sure that all assigned training is prepared, conducted, documented and performed in accordance with the PWS Ensure that employees and team goals are met and choosing appropriate rewards for achievements Works with a structure of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures and in the resolution of issues confronted in the process Review and ensure that all maintenance of historical files are current, such Administrative Adjustment Reports, receipts, issues, turn-ins, and transfer documents Review and make sure that all authorized assets listed in the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) are on hand or on a valid request Review, evaluate, and prepare Work Instructions assigned to the CIPBO Ensure that all assets disposition instructions are executed in a timely manner Validates and ensures material readiness Make sure that analysis of equipment on hand are per requirements (Class II, IV, and VII) Review all authorized documents periodically Ensure that requisitions are requested to meet mission requirements Conducts necessary supervision of all processed documentation for monthly Government inspections Ensure compliance with all property authenticated directives within established guidelines Make sure the equipment status to include completeness, serviceability, and accountability Performs all duties as assigned to required standards Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Computers, Fax machine, Copier, Printer and Phones Personal computer systems, Microsoft Office Programs, any other pertinent software and general office equipment Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas Use of Government Furnished vehicle Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold weather conditions Rarely will an employee be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Work may require to lift up to 50 pounds, stooping, climbing and prolonged standing and/or sitting Physical requirements include lifting, climbing stairs and extended sitting or standing
