About The Position

The Asset Management Specialist - HW manages hardware assets within Asset Management under the Lifecycle Operations Line of Business, tracking inventory, auditing, and handling procurement to ensure lifecycle management, compliance, and optimization per NIST and DOJ guidelines. Leveraging hardware tracking software and inventory auditing techniques, this role prepares procurement packages and uses depreciation calculation tools. This role employes disposal process management and configuration baseline maintenance support rationalization, while vendor coordination for HW enhances efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with IT asset management
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
