A Day in the Life Leadership & Team Oversight: Supervise, mentor, and schedule AMET team members, providing daily guidance and ensuring accountability. Train new technicians on USME protocols, hospital standards, and equipment maintenance procedures. Monitor team performance and ensure quality and productivity benchmarks are met or exceeded. Lead by example by actively participating in maintenance, cleaning, and repair activities. Operations & Performance Management: Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on hospital-owned beds and movable medical equipment. Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate closely with clinical leadership and hospital staff to align AMET support with patient care needs. Maintain proper documentation of services performed using hospital or USME tracking systems. Compliance & Safety: Enforce and promote adherence to hospital policies, Joint Commission requirements, and company safety standards. Act as the primary point of contact during audits or compliance inspections related to equipment management. Report and address incidents, hazards, or non-compliance issues immediately. Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the liaison between the USME Operations team, Biomedical team, and hospital stakeholders. Support Directors & Regional Operations Managers in reporting, performance reviews, and planning. Escalate equipment issues, staffing challenges, or customer concerns appropriately and in a timely manner. Additional Duties: Travel to support other hospital partners or to assist with cross-training initiatives. Participate in performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
