About The Position

Rose Valley Capital, a Brooklyn-based real estate investment firm, is seeking an Asset Management Analyst/Associate to support our Asset Management team in overseeing a growing, national portfolio of multifamily assets. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytically strong professional seeking hands-on exposure to institutional-grade asset management and portfolio operations within an owner-operator platform. The Junior Asset Manager will play a key role in financial analysis, operational monitoring, reporting, and execution of business plans across the portfolio, while gaining direct mentorship from senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in real estate, asset management, property management, private equity, or investment analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with multifamily operations and valuation fundamentals.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with property management systems (Appfolio, Entrata, RealPage, Yardi, YieldStar/LRO) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Asset Manager in executing business plans across stabilized and value-add multifamily assets.
  • Track asset performance versus budget, underwriting, and prior year results.
  • Assist with preparation of Annual Budgets, monthly, quarterly, and annual ownership and investor reporting.
  • Maintain operating models and assist with financial analysis, sensitivity scenarios, and valuations.
  • Coordinate with property management teams to ensure budget adherence and operational execution.
  • Assist with lease-up tracking, rent growth analysis, expense management, and capital expenditure monitoring.
  • Support acquisitions and dispositions with due diligence, underwriting updates, and transition support.
  • Conduct market research, competitive set analysis, and performance benchmarking.
  • Participate in asset reviews, site inspections, and operational audits.
  • Help identify performance risks and assist in developing strategies to improve asset results.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
