About The Position

The Asset Management Analyst will work collaboratively across departments to enhance value creation at the property level, track and manage key performance metrics, and aid in both pre- and post-acquisition decision making and planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required
  • 3-5 years related experience is preferred
  • Regular daily in-office attendance is expected
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Solid financial and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate scenarios and support recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive work environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee retail leasing activity across the portfolio, coordinating with brokers; maintain performance reports, tenant relationships, CAM reconciliations, and underwriting for mixed-use acquisitions
  • Manage property tax processes including underwriting, budgeting, accounting, appeals, and payments, coordinating with external consultants as needed
  • Administer HOA/COA relationships and facilitate communication among stakeholders
  • Evaluate and support negotiation of service provider agreements (e.g., telecom, parking) to enhance resident experience and ancillary revenue
  • Support annual budgeting and manage data for non-controllable expenses and revenue streams
  • Track and report on capital expenditures and renovation/value-add capital programs, to ensure budget compliance, support benchmarking, and ensure underwritten targets are met
  • Coordinate with lenders, regulatory agencies, and internal teams on compliance, title, and property matters; monitor inspections, repairs, and reporting
  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings, including prorations, closings, and post-closing requirements
  • Prepare and present quarterly Asset Management Reviews and other financial/operational analyses, at asset-level and fund-level, for senior leadership
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined necessary
