About the Role: The Asset Maintenance Specialist has a primary responsibility to analyze and process transactions related to Private Security and Real Estate maintenance. Primarily focused on a single security type (either Private Equity or Real Estate), with a goal of developing expertise across all security types to further support the team. Processing activities include expense payments, activities related to litigation, and valuations. Communicate effectively with clients, authorized third parties, and asset sponsors to resolve discrepancies or follow-up on requests. Adhere strictly to trust regulations and security standards including our customer identification program, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Internal Revenue Code, and all other applicable banking and trust regulation set forth by the IRS and various other regulatory agencies. Handles work of routine nature. Process cash and securities transactions in the trust accounting system related to expense payments, litigation, and valuations. Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and according to the relevant documentation. Ensure all documentation related to the transaction is appropriately archived and noted in Salesforce. Proactively communicate with asset sponsors or government agencies via phone to validate requests and to understand the path to completion for each transaction. Quickly remediate any issues or concerns arising from the sponsor or agency contact. Communicate findings to end clients as needed. Ensure all procedures related to client contact are adhered to. Proactively communicate with clients via phone to advise them of the status of their request. Quickly remediate any issues or concerns arising from the client contact. Under the guidance of senior team members, assist in processing activities related to institutional client conversions and deconversions. Under the guidance of senior team members, develop an understanding of processing activities across multiple security types (private equity and real estate). Other duties as assigned. About You: High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required. Demonstrated data entry skills required. 0 - 1 year financial services experience required. Prior financial services experience in a transaction processing environment preferred. Must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Excellent organizational, time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Must be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Must exhibit appropriate and professional judgement which is in line with Columbia Bank culture and success attributes. Strong understanding of a PC, Windows environment. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues The pay range for this role is $22.61 - $26.00 The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
