The Assessment Manager, under the direction of the Director of Assessment Systems and Strategy, will support the district’s assessment strategy and will provide oversight, management, support, training, and facilitation for the day-to-day requirements of the state and local student assessments. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving current administration, professional learning, and support to schools for all assessments. The position will emphasize developing clear communications to all stakeholders, in particular schools and families, regarding assessment administration and results, as well as providing excellent customer service during assessment administration windows. The Assessment Manager will use assessment data and user feedback to inform and support the district assessment strategy. This is a key role in supporting school leaders and teacher teams to drive academic performance through the use of assessments to support the district’s instructional approach that meets the needs of every student.
