They are a group of highly trained behavioral health professionals dedicated to promoting the emotional and physical well-being of the community in a safe and respectful environment. They provide a comprehensive and integrative array of behavioral health services and supports for people of all ages with varying levels of need, utilizing an equitable and inclusive approach, focusing on helping clients develop their inherent strengths for the highest quality of life. The Carolina Outreach team is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to join their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. In this pivotal role, the ACT Nurse will deliver critical, community-based mental health services to individuals with complex needs, partnering closely with clients, families, and an interdisciplinary team. The nurse will oversee the medical and clinical components of treatment, blending clinical expertise with a deep commitment to person-centered care. This includes managing medication monitoring, delivering psychopharmacologic care within their scope, and coordinating services that help clients thrive in their communities. The role also involves responding to crises, supporting transitions into and out of care, and collaborating on individualized treatment plans to help clients make meaningful progress toward stability and recovery.
