About The Position

Assemble parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Able to read and work from drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions
• Know how to properly use crimpers, strippers, heat shrink guns, drills, taps, dial calipers and other misc. hand tools

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment.
• Perform assembly utilizing a variety of hand/power tools, including screw drivers, wrenches, drills, hammers, tape measures, etc.
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
• Accurately complete job logging through Epicor to account for assembly times
• Operate overhead crane and other lifting mechanisms as necessary to perform the job safely and efficiently
• Verify that parts are free of flaws, defects or imperfections and properly write up parts that do not meet specifications
