Assembly Technician

You will play a vital role in delivering world-class products to our customers! Job Summary: The Assembly Technician will work in the Production Department performing a wide range of tasks. This includes reading prints and following procedures, troubleshooting process, using precision tooling, building and assembly product for customers per schedule, using job traveler and pick lists, perform wiring, testing, process documentation and follow work instructions. Description: Work independently and as part of a team to build out a variety of products for our customers. Follow work instructions and troubleshoot equipment, tooling, material, and process issues to prevent down time. Follow and document testing to ensure quality of product made for our customers. Perform periodic maintenance as needed. Follow prints, work instructions, job travelers, and pick lists to ensure materials used and tasks are performed such as wiring completed matches requirements. Perform basic electrical troubleshooting. Perform assembly, testing, and final packaging for products made for customer. Assist with training of other production team members on new equipment, tools, products, and work instruction revisions. Assist other assembly technicians as needed. Actively participate in daily production meetings.
Requirements
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics, and other technical documentation
- Hands-on skills with electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to inspect and measure components with precision
- Able to work safely with sources of energy
- Able to build products for customers using a variety of tooling.
- Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Results-oriented, motivated, hard-working.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Basic understanding and ability to read prints and schematic
- Strong problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources
- Self-Starter capable of working with minimal direction
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts
- Electrical skills/experience
- HVAC skills/experience
