About The Position

Selux, in Highland, is currently accepting applications for an Assembly Technician . Pay rate: $18.00-$18.50/hour Assemblers use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment. Indidviduals will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble mechanical and electrical parts with the team.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
Ability to meet production standard times.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced continuous workflow production environment while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.

Responsibilities

Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes.
Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations.
Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process.
Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
