About The Position
Our client is seeking a temporary Assembly Technician to join their team! This position is located outside of Albany, NY. Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician will include: Assemble and test products, including mechanical assembly of subcomponents Maintain tools Complete data entry and documentation tasks Follow detailed work instructions Maintain a clean work area Report issues and assist with process improvements Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with wiring
- Good communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Able to follow directions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good hand-eye coordination
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role is a plus
- Associates degree in physics, engineering, or another STEM field is a plus
