Assembly Technician
About The Position
We're seeking an Assembly Technician to build and test our revolutionary robotic systems. This is an exciting opportunity to apply hands-on manufacturing expertise to cutting-edge robotics technology. We're looking for detail-oriented technicians ready to partner closely with our production manager and the broader engineering team to assemble systems. If you're excited about assembling precision hardware and want to be part of the team bringing next-generation robots to life, we'd love to hear from you. This role is on-site at our manufacturing facility in Glen Cove, NY. This is a first shift position (Monday-Friday, daytime hours). Note: We are unable to sponsor Visas for this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in mass production environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Collaborative team player
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing
- Machine shop equipment experience
- OSHA knowledge
Responsibilities
- Assemble production robots and components according to specifications
- Report quality and process issues to Production Supervisor
- Maintain safe working environment following company and industry standards
- Manage material handling and distribution to work stations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
