Position Summary Reporting to the Production Supervisor , the Assembly Technician is responsible for building and testing precision sensor products. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with basic technical skills and a strong desire to learn. You’ll gain hands-on experience assembling mechanical and electrical components, working closely with experienced engineers and technicians. This position is part of the Production Team located in Austin, Texas and will be on-site .

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and SOPs
Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical assembly practices

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in assembly or electronics manufacturing
Strong attention to detail and quality
Willingness to learn, support team activities, and uphold 5S and safety standards

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical enclosure, cable, and wiring assembly using tools and work instructions
Follow detailed Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assembly drawings to ensure consistent and high-quality builds
Support product testing on the production line, including functional tests, basic troubleshooting, and documentation of test results
Report defects or assembly issues to supervisors, technicians, or engineering teams
Maintain a clean, well-organized workstation and actively participate in a strong 5S program
Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines, and best practices to promote a safe work environment
Collaborate with team members and support daily production goals
