About The Position

As an Assembly Technician with the Fluke Phoenix Team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical and electronic/electromechanical products. This role requires adherence to work instructions, drawings, and procedures, as well as maintaining clean and organized material areas. The position is based in a manufacturing facility and involves daily interaction with other manufacturing cell associates, planner buyers, and the operations manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test mechanical and electromechanical products
  • Tube fabrication including cutting threading and bending
  • Cable fabrication including termination, crimping and soldering
  • Read and interpret drawings, work instructions and procedures
  • Complete tests, troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Work within a daily management system including tracking key metrics
  • Maintain a clean safe and 5S work area
  • Help ensure proper material levels by using the material replenishment system
  • Participate in continuous improvement
