About The Position

As an Assembly Technician on our growing team, you are contributing to the success of the company by safely and efficiently troubleshooting and installing mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers.  If you are bright, highly motivated, and a team player we encourage you to apply!

Requirements

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read service and repair manuals.
  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
  • Ability to learn and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and calculate differences in measurements.
  • Ability to Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED or Equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a mechanical field with hydraulic system repairs including pump valves, cylinders, etc.
  • Must be comfortable with electrical trouble shooting.
  • Must have wrenching experience.
  • Must be comfortable using power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinder, air tools etc.
  • Must be eager to learn, have a good work ethic, and be able to accept responsibility for work performed.
  • Leadership skills desired.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drill holes in steel frames
  • Bolt on parts
  • Run/Feed electrical wiring and hoses
  • Zip tie wires
  • Take accurate measurements
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Basic understanding of air systems & operations
  • Basic welding
  • Console Installation
  • Pump Installation
  • Large assembly installation such as tanks and saddles etc.
  • Touch up paint.
  • Body electrical outfit
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Understanding of air systems & operations as well as troubleshooting
  • Advanced Welder – Hitch, plows, tipping hinges, bodies weld down
  • Console Installation
  • PTO and Pump Installation and troubleshooting
  • Large assembly installation such as tanks and saddles etc.
  • Touch up paint
  • Body electrical outfit
  • Ability to fully plumb, install and set pressure settings and checks on Maxles
  • Quality Control Assurance on full truck operation checks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
