Position Summary: The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembly related tasks and activities and is required to use independent skill and judgment to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements and directives that pertain to the assembly process. This effort includes, but is not limited to, reading blueprints and setting up press. This individual works with the entire Graphic Cases department to ensure cases are built correctly and in a timely manner to meet company quotas.

Requirements

  • Able to read mechanical drawings, prints and measuring devices

Responsibilities

  • Reads and understands blueprints and utilize skill and judgment to design and implement methods to ensure that assemblies are made to specifications
  • Sets up Hager, riveters, channel cutter, silicone crimpers and drill press
  • Able to maintain standard operating procedures, practices, and work instructions
  • Ability to setup and assemble product prototypes, with little or no assistance
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety rules
  • Uses assembly and measuring tools
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
