In the Assembly Technician role, you are responsible for assembling, wiring, and modifying work according to specific guidelines for medium- and high‑voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and related sub‑assemblies. Assemble, wire, fit, and modify highly complex assemblies—including non‑standard units such as Special Assemblies, Power Company units, and Pull and Switch Sections—demonstrating advanced technical understanding. Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering, as required. Mount and install electrical equipment and perform necessary wiring operations. Lift, handle, and assemble components involving heavy copper parts. Maintain required Kanban inventory levels and report shortages to designated operators. Inspect all assemblies to ensure hardware is secure and assemblies meet cleanliness and quality standards. Respond to change notices, customer‑requested adjustments, and development needs. Support engineering, drafting, and supervision teams with customer‑driven development efforts. Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervision or Engineering, following established procedures. Retrieve unit drawings using ENOVIA.Perform other duties as assigned.
