About The Position

The Assembler II is responsible for meeting daily production targets while prioritizing safety, quality, delivery, inventory control, and productivity. This role focuses on the assembly of Low Voltage Assemblies and performs all required tasks associated with the position. Responsibilities include completing Assembler I duties (Flex and Lean), operating assembly machinery, conducting PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, creating labels, performing quality inspections, and completing material transactions in AS400. May be required to obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and assembly equipment to assemble, adjust, repair, layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk, and paint materials as required Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, standard operating procedures, method sheets, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors Perform visual inspections and quality checks before, during, and after assembly to ensure products meet specifications Apply required identification labeling to completed assemblies Retrieve, stage, and deliver materials to the assembly line to support production Prepare completed assemblies for shipment or storage as part of the final assembly process Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace. (5S+) Comply with all safety policies, procedures, WSRA requirements, and flex to other areas or roles as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 6 months of industrial manufacturing experience
  • 6 months of experience using hand and air tools
  • Being flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum direction.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accomodation
