About The Position

The Assembler I is responsible for meeting daily production goals with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role assembles Low Voltage Assemblies and performs tasks such as material allocation, raw material preparation, assembly, electrical testing, and preparing finished products for shipment. The Assembler works as part of a team and flexes across all assembly areas as needed, including Lean Line, Flex Line, and PowerWave2 operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience
  • 3 months of experience using hand and air tools

  • No relocation is provided for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, adjust, and repair assemblies using fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools; operate layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, caulking, and painting equipment as required.
  • Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line as needed to support production
  • Apply identification labels and prepare assemblies for shipment or storage during final assembly.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, standard operating procedures, and method sheets; follow written and verbal supervisor instructions.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
  • Flex to other assembly areas or perform other tasks as needed to support operations.
