About The Position

Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods sheets and assembly drawings in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or verbal form.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, components, and assembly techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and efficiency improvement strategies.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the electronic manufacturing industry with emphasis on mechanical assembly capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electro-mechanical team.
  • Develop and implement daily work schedules to meet production targets.
  • Ensure all assembly processes comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Monitor production efficiency and address any issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality control teams to optimize processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of production volumes, staffing, and equipment performance.
  • Identify and resolve production challenges, including equipment malfunctions or material shortages.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
