About The Position

US Conec is seeking a hands-on Assembly Supervisor to lead production operations on our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will: Oversee daily workflow and guide production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency across the department Coach team members, enforce policies, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer deadlines Play a key role in process improvement, documentation, and team development

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proven ability to supervise and guide 50-100 production employees
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and timekeeping systems
  • Clear communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Commitment to safety, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and assign work based on the production tracker and shipping schedule
  • Monitor workflow and adjust personnel assignments to meet changing priorities
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Review and approve Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) for accuracy and compliance
  • Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
  • Track and report on cost reduction strategies and operational metrics
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet customer order deadlines
  • Maintain and approve time and production records; supervise Paylocity time entries
  • Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations across the team
  • Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency
  • Support training and development of team members and lead substitutes
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and process improvements
  • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel
  • Oversee tool serialization and inventory tracking
  • Participate in fixture testing and approval processes with Quality and Engineering teams
