About The Position

As an automotive supplier partner, Valeo focuses on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions. This position is a one-year internship, requiring 30+ hours per week, starting in May 2026 and concluding in April 2027. The intern will be an integral part of a global community, working on advanced technologies and contributing to a culture that encourages daring, caring, and sharing. The role involves supporting Assembly Process Engineers, leading at least one project, troubleshooting assembly machine issues, and collaborating with the Quality Engineering team to devise engineering solutions for equipment problems. Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Should have completed Sophomore level / 2nd year of undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university
  • Should have a desire to work with machinery on a plant floor

Responsibilities

  • Support our Assembly Process Engineers
  • Be given at least one project to lead
  • Learn how to troubleshoot assembly machine issues
  • Work with the Quality Engineering team to find engineering solutions to equipment issues
