About The Position

Become a success story within our Assembly Department! Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Pay is based upon experience starting between $21.00/HR-$23.00/HR POSITION SUMMARY Responsibility for the following areas: Work as team leader having the responsibility for the team’s assembly of an entire product or component of a product. Assembly Lead can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process. Plans the task and may rotate through all or most as assembly auditor rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. Participates in making decisions affecting the work of others in the assembly process. Perform quality checks on products and parts. Package finished products and prepare them for shipment. Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications. Complete production reports to communicate team production level to management. Determine work assignments and procedures. Maintain production equipment and machinery. Supervise assemblers and train employees on job procedures. Operate machinery and heavy equipment, such as forklifts.

Requirements

  • 1 year of prior lead or supervisor experience
  • 3 years of prior manufacturing experience.
  • 1 year of prior mechanical assembly experience.
  • 1 year of prior 6S or leaning manufacturing experience.
  • 1 year of experience using an EPS system.
