About The Position

Oversees and is responsible for all aspects of departmental production and
the suitability for sale of all items produced during his/her assigned
hours.

Requirements

• Must be able to train operators and troubleshoot problems on assigned machinery
• Must be able to understand and follow production schedules
• Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates
• Must have good leadership qualities and maintain the respect of his subordinates
• Must have a reasonable knowledge of current Production Software
• Needs a working understanding of both written & spoken English
• Must be able to read & use a non metric measuring tape
• Must be able to count & perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division)
• Able to bend and lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously for prolonged periods.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods
• Able to climb stairs.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years press experience preferred
• High School Diploma or higher preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the health & safety of all employees assigned during his/her shift.
• Follow and ensure that subordinates adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe & clean work area.
• Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed. Take disciplinary action as needed
• Ensure that all orders produced are completed according to the specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
• Responsible for the training and retraining of crew members and support personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
