ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Perform the following with limited supervision: Review and interpret shop floor paperwork prior to assembly Read and follow drawings, SOPs, blueprints, and/or wiring diagrams Properly assemble finished good (mechanical and electrical) to quality standards in assigned area Efficiently build multiple product types Full operation of equipment, where assigned Operator-level cleaning and maintenance for their assigned area Depending on assigned area, may include advanced testing and troubleshooting functions Conform to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for the position Support daily and monthly production goals and targets Utilize SOPs and Standard Work Instructions to complete work Contribute to safety and process improvement initiatives Learn SAP/ MII / MES Processes Demonstrate reliability and ownership of assigned processes Identify work to be performed via SAP or MII work center priority Perform physical material movements Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S and lean initiatives Cross-train within department Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in areas they are cross-trained in Help train new production team members as assigned Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • 12 months prior manufacturing experience required
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • NFPA70E certification required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High focus on quality and safety
  • Advanced math, reading, and computer skills
  • Advanced skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematic reading
  • Advanced skills in use of basic, pneumatic, and power tools
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to perform other jobs in other pay grades
  • Ability to read measuring devices
  • Ability to safely operate equipment, which may include material movement equipment such as overhead lifting devices, forklifts, etc.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, if offered employment

Responsibilities
