Core customers are Airports and Airlines in all countries around the World. Core products are Power Supply Units for aircraft parked on the ground. The ITW GSE has 2 factories and 2 sales offices: ITW GSE Americas, Palmetto Florida ITW GSE ApS International, Odense Denmark Sales Office Dubai Sales Office Singapore ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Cell Lead is a hands-on leader responsible for both performing assembly and production tasks and providing day-to-day leadership to a team within a manufacturing cell. This role ensures high-quality output, on-time delivery, and a safe, organized work environment by actively participating in production while also guiding and supporting team members.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team while performing production tasks.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Must be able to read and speak English proficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and manufacturing tasks alongside team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Complete all required manufacturing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively, following all safety and QMS procedures.
  • Lead by example, modeling ITW values and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Assign daily tasks and adjust workloads to meet production schedules and priorities.
  • Utilize the Production Board to guide workflow and communicate priorities to the team.
  • Monitor team performance and provide real-time coaching, feedback, and support.
  • Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and assist with disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Manager and/or HR.
  • Train and cross-train team members to build a flexible and skilled workforce.
  • Champion 5S and continuous improvement initiatives within the cell.
