The Exhaust Processor's primary function is to operate and oversee tube process stations and associated vacuum and electronic equipment to manufacture intensifier tube components. The Exhaust Processor uses hand tools to remove numerous stainless-steel bolts to access and remove finished products from the vacuum and electronic equipment. The Exhaust Processor will unload and reload the systems without damaging the fragile tubes or the equipment. Essential Functions: Performing various routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities Adhere to procedures and work instructions Perform the exhaust process on components to achieve quality and yield goals set by the Exhaust department Produce a quality product that meets the customer specifications and maintains sufficient inventory to satisfy our internal and external customers Interprets data from Analytical/ Diagnostics equipment to make sound decisions based on relevant facts Must be able to follow written procedures and complete assigned work in a timely manner to keep production schedule while maintaining acceptable yields as determined by area supervisors and engineers Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to the job Utilize a variety of hand tools and follows written process procedures for intensifier image tube processing Monitor data from various meters and sensing devices that measure vacuum, temperature, and torque Maintain accurate record entry through use of onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS) Define complex equipment issues and quality levels while informing engineering of any process, component, etc. that deviate from normal processing Adhere to best vacuum and clean room practices Perform other duties as required Qualifications
