Job Summary: The Assembly Associate is responsible for applying prismatic material to a variety of plastic products. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the finished products meet the quality standards according to company requirements. Essential Functions: Measures and cuts prismatic material to the required size and shape for different products using cutting tools. Places the prismatic material accurately and efficiently into the plastic parts. Trims and finishes details ensuring that sheeting is properly aligned and securely fastened. Inspects work to ensure that it meets the quality standards and specifications, checking for defects, damage, and proper alignment. Mains and cleans tools and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition and ready for use. Assembles a variety of parts to produce finished products. Uses stencils to customize and label finished products. Palletizes and straps finished products. General Functions: Collaborates with other members of the Assembly team to ensure that deadlines are met, and products are delivered on time. Consistently abides by established safety rules, procedures, and regulations including wearing required safety equipment such as safety shoes and glasses. Mains a clean and organized work environment. Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to supervisor or manager. Works effectively with co-workers and supervisors, sharing knowledge, resources, and experience to achieve production goals in a timely fashion, while promoting respect, communication, and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
