About The Position

Help grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day. Key Responsibilities: Assembly Perform assembly operations on handheld gas leak detectors by following detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and schematics. Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and small parts to assemble the product to exact specifications. Ensure all components are installed correctly and secured Testing & Troubleshooting Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly and performance issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve recurring issues and optimize processes. Quality Assurance Conduct quality inspections at various stages of the assembly process, ensuring each product meets company and regulatory standards. Document assembly activities, test results, and any defects found during testing or assembly. Process & Safety Compliance Follow ISO-certified manufacturing processes and adhere to all safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency and safety. Participate in periodic ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Team Collaboration Work closely with fellow assemblers, engineers, and quality assurance staff to ensure smooth production flow. Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams regarding production status, equipment needs, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electronics or assembly is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or small devices.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, soldering, and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and calibration procedures.
  • Commitment to quality and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small parts and precise assembly work.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production demands and work overtime as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
